St Cyprian of Carthage
prayer |
O God our heavenly Father, your Son,
Jesus Christ commanded us to go out and make disciples. In
response to His command, we have started this new church, St.
Cyprian of Carthage. We know that without your help and
blessing we cannot succeed in bringing people to your church.
We pray that you will be with us as we take your gospel to your
people. Give us wisdom and understanding to say and do the right
things when we meet our friends, acquaintances and even people
we have not met before;. so that our membership may increase in
accordance with your will and to your praise and glory. This we
ask through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

St Cyprian's Virtiual Church - Our
Prayer Line
When we think of “a church,” the image
that comes to mind is a stone building with high stained-glass
windows. Whether the image is of a modern building or a
scaled-down Gothic cathedral, one constant is that it is a solid
place dedicated to worship. St. Cyprian of
Carthage is a beautiful Gothic building,
but now it is also a telephone network. Because the parishioners
at St. Cyprian’s often work two or even three jobs, by shifts
and on weekends, it can be impossible for them to attend Sunday
or Thursday evening services. So the Vicar, Admire Cleeve, has
set up the network to hold Morning Prayer at
6:00 AM
and Noonday Prayer at
12:00
on weekdays. On all evenings except Tuesdays, there will be a
prayer service with individual prayers from
9:30
to 10:00,
ending with Compline; on Tuesdays there will be a Bible study
discussion and Compline from
9:30 to
10:15. Prayer, whether in the stone
church or by voice, is the center of worship at St. Cyprian’s,
but the prayers are not exclusive to parishioners. Everyone is
welcome to enter wherever you are in the community by calling
1-213-289 0555 and the access code is 43205#.
Members of St cyprian would like to share with members and
visitors these links that have served it's member as a form of
daily prayer sites, for adults, youth and children in time of
spritual needs.
