SCOCEC Women Group
St.Cyprian of Carthage Episcopal Church,
Women's group started at the beginning of
our church. Women from our congregation saw a need for teaching
about the Episcopal church and Anglican communion. At the
beginning the group studied the book of common prayer, and then
discussed the meaning of spirituality. Members found it
difficult to attend because of the time of the meetings
which took place at the church on Sunday at 9am.
Membership is open to all women of various denominations.
The Group then decided to hold the meeting
through Tele-Conference call, every last Sunday of the month at
6.30PM.

spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical needs bring
them to God and nurture them to spiritual maturity.
Our Goals:-

identify the needs of women within and outside the church.

increase the spirituality of members to enable them to
administer to others.

give emotional support to women within and outside the
church.
To
form a women's sisterhood by extending membership to
women nationally
To
establish Sub-divisions in North Carolina, New Jersey,
Maryland etc.
